2024 F1 Monaco Grand Prix – Free Practice 2 results


Charles Leclerc finished the opening day of the Monaco Grand Prix as the fastest driver, thanks to a time of 1:11.278 seconds in practice two.

The local champion's time was an incredible 1.2 seconds faster than Max Verstappen's 2023 pole position time at the Monaco circuit.

Verstappen was only fourth in FP2, more than half a second behind the Ferrari driver, while first practice pacer Lewis Hamilton was the driver closest to Leclerc.

Hamilton was just over a tenth of a second slower than Monaco, while two-time world champion Fernando Alonso was third. Lando Norris completed the top five.
