Verstappen passes F1 legend in key accolade count

Max Verstappen took his 59th career win at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix and looks set to soon become the third driver to achieve 60 victories in Formula 1 history.

The Dutchman is also part of an exclusive list of drivers who have claimed more than 100 podium finishes.

Verstappen's win in Jeddah earlier this year marked his 100th trip to the podium, and he continued to add to that tally in the following rounds.

Following his win at Imola, Verstappen has now surpassed Kimi Raikkonen on the all-time podium scorer list.

The result was Verstappen's 104th career podium finish, and he also appears to be on track to surpass Fernando Alonso's all-time record.

Only Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Alain Prost and Alonso have scored more podium finishes than Verstappen.
