“I’ve found a home here” – Toni Kroos on life at Real Madrid amid talk of possible exit

Toni Kroos's future has been the subject of much speculation over the past few months. The veteran midfielder is out of contract in six weeks, and there have been doubts about his continuity – not for Real Madrid, as they are desperate to retain his services for at least another 12 months.

Kroos' future is likely to be decided over the next 2-3 weeks, but he would have no concerns staying, as he told the media this week (via Marca) that he is very comfortable at Real Madrid and in the Spanish capital.

“I found a home outside Germany in Madrid. I am very comfortable here, there are many people who love me and make me happy.”

Reports have emerged in the last 24 hours that Luka Modric will leave in the summer, suggesting that Kroos will remain at Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti would certainly be happy to keep him in the team for next season.
