Erling Haaland scores twice as Man City beat Tottenham and move two clear of Arsenal

Another win was needed to secure a fourth successive Premier League title, as they beat Tottenham to return to the top of the log.

Tottenham Hotspur produced a bold performance that their north London rivals would be proud of, but it was not enough to stop the unstoppable attack of Manchester City, who beat them 2-0 to return to the top of the log.

The Cityzens are in direct competition with Tottenham's rivals Arsenal for the Premier League title. Although the majority of Tottenham fans, according to a Sky Sports poll, preferred that their team derail Arsenal's title ambitions by losing to City, Spurs were true to the words of their coach Ange Postecoglou and provided a strong competition.

However, Manchester City proved to be too much for them as two goals from the league's top scorer, Erling Haaland, earned maximum points for Pep Guardiola's side and moved them two points clear at the top of the Premier League standings.
