Wallabies Kellaway and Tupou return for Rebels’ derby with in-form Brumbies

The Melbourne Rebels welcomed back the Wallabies' Andrew Kellaway and Taniela Tupou to the squad on match day as they prepare for a great challenge awaiting them in Canberra.

Kellaway returns to the lineup at fullback while Tupou will provide impact off the bench when the Melbourneians take on the high-flying ACT Brumbies at GIO Stadium.

The Brumbies, who had a dramatic win over the Crusaders at the same venue, have beaten some good teams there this season and remain in the hunt for the top two.

Coach Kevin Foote has named Victorian prop Isaac Kaylea in a front row which also includes Jordan Oiles and strong prop Sam Talakai.

While Angelo Smith and Josh Canham complete the tight five, watch out for the lethal back three of skipper Rob Leota, relentless defender Brad Wilkin and the ever-dangerous Fayulenele Ekwasi.

Ryan Lawrence will partner Jake Strachan at halves, while Nick Giusti will join Wallabies Filippo Dogono as a midfield duo.

Glen Vaihu starts on one wing with former SVNS Series star Darby Lancaster on the other. As previously mentioned, Kellaway is of course the full-back who will be up against the Australian powerhouse.
