With just over a month to go before the start of the new season and the football world's focus is firmly on Euro 2024 and the tournament. Copa AmericaLaLiga has published the dates and times for the first round of matches of the 24-25 season.
Kylian Mbappé will make his debut Mallorca To Real Madrid With kick-off confirmed for Sunday, August 18 at 9:00pm local time (3pm ET). The Spanish League starts on Thursday, August 15, in San Mames, where Athletic will face Getafe. The opening matches of the weekend end on Monday the 19th, when Simeone's Atletico Madrid will take on Villarreal.
Hansi Flick's debut for Barcelona will be on Saturday the 17th, when he will take his team to the Mestalla to face Valencia, at 9:30 pm. (3:30 p.m. ET).
The first round of matches will take place over five days in mid-August, a time when most Spaniards head to the local beaches, but the Thursday night fixture is not expected to be a regular slot during the new season.

Real Madrid is still expected to unveil Mbappe on July 16, when the curtain falls on the current European Championship, which is being held in Germany.
