Jackson's victory
The second fastest woman in the world showed just how good she is when she crossed the finish line in the 200m race.
The Jamaican withdrew from the Sozhou Diamond League and Miramar Championships in April, but has not postponed her 2024 outdoor campaign, winning the 100m at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Federation earlier this month in 11.03 seconds.
Jackson started the race a little slow but picked up her pace when she was about to turn the track.
The Jamaican had a slight advantage over Ivory Coast's Mapondo Kony, who was accompanying her at home.
Kony took second place with a time of 22.96 seconds, followed by Helen Parisot in third place with a personal time of 23.02 seconds.
According to reports from Olympics.com, Jackson defeated her main rivals, Americans Gabby Thomas and Shakari Richardson, in 22.82 seconds against a headwind of one meter per second.
