Despite scoring five goals, Akpom has only managed just five starts in 20 matches across competitions for his Dutch club in the current season.

With game time hard to come by, the former Gunner could be set for a lifeline following the interest of Everton and Luton per Team Talk.

The Toffees and Luton are reportedly exploring the possibility of a loan move for the talented versatile forward who is still eligible to play for Nigeria Super Eagles.
