Premier League: Danger for Arsenal as Man City star man declared fit for title clash

Manchester City could have their best player available for the crucial visit of Arsenal this weekend.

Manchester City are optimistic that star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will be available to start against Arsenal this weekend.

De Bruyne missed the FA Cup quarterfinal win over Newcastle United because of a groin injury, with the niggle also ruling him out of Belgium’s friendlies against Republic of Ireland and England over the international break.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has opened up on rumours surrounding a potential move to Spain.

However, after coming through a full training session with the U-23 side on Tuesday, there is a high possibility that he will be available for Sunday’s big game.

According to reports, the 32-year-old will continue to be assessed and participate in first-team training on Thursday.

Pep Guardiola is also sweating over the availability of Kyle Walker and John Stones.

Walker sustained a hamstring injury during England’s loss to Brazil, while Stones left the field early in the draw with Belgium due to an adductor issue.

Although Walker’s injury isn’t deemed severe, he’s in a race to recover before the clash against Mikel Arteta’s side.

The City boss will hope his two key defenders are fit to face a flying Arsenal side in a title clash.

As usual, Tunde and Tosin argue out who is their preferred striker. Victor Osimhen or Erling Haaland?
