Sevilla are preparing to succeed Quique Sanchez Flores as head coach in the coming weeks.
The Andalusian club confirmed its plan to dismiss Sanchez Flores from his position at the end of the season after occupying mid-table.
The decision means that Sevilla is looking for a sixth coach in less than two years, as Sanchez Flores won only 10 matches in his third period in the Spanish capital.
Sevilla have been linked with a host of targets to take over, most of them either from La Liga, or with La Liga experience.
However, the club are keeping their options open, with Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca on target after leading the Foxes to the Premier League.
Maresca's first year at the King Power Stadium saw him immediately return to the top flight, and his contract runs until 2026.
