Osasuna choosing between two candidates to replace outgoing manager Jagoba Arrasate

After this weekend's match against Villarreal, Gagoba Arrasate will leave Osasuna after six years in charge. The 46-year-old is set to take charge of La Liga side Mallorca, and the search for his replacement is growing.

Relevo says Osasuna sporting director Braulio Vazquez is taking his time with the process, although he has narrowed the candidates down to two: Robi and Vicente Moreno. The likes of Luis Garcia Plaza and Inigo Pérez were on the shortlist, although they will stay at Alaves and Rayo Vallecano respectively.

The report states that barring any last-minute changes, Osasuna's next coach will be either Robi or Moreno. Both candidates have the chance to join other clubs in Spain, although they are prioritizing the coaching opportunity in Pamplona.

It remains to be seen who Osasuna selects, although whoever takes over will have a difficult task to live up to the standard set by Arrasate over the past six years.
