Edo Queens bounced back from their opening day loss by defeating newcomer Heartland Queens 3-1.

Chioma Musa and Kafayat Mavisire Edo put Queens comfortably in front before half-time. In the second half, Emem Essien increased the lead before Emmanuela James was able to score an honorable goal for Heartland Queens.
