Red Bull will launch its RB17 hypercar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​in July.

Milton Keynes is celebrating 20 years of Red Bull's involvement in Formula 1, with a line-up featuring former and current drivers, including David Coulthard, who raced for the team from its debut season in 2005 until his retirement from Formula 1 in 2008. .

The centerpiece of the Red Bull exhibition will be the all-new RB17 hypercar, designed by outgoing technical director Adrian Newey.

“Designed, developed and manufactured entirely in-house, the RB17 will feature a two-seater carbon fiber monocoque with a semi-pressurised V10 engine in the middle and a carbon fiber gearbox driving the rear wheels,” Red Bull said of its impending car. launch.

The team also confirmed that only 50 copies of the car, which can reach speeds of more than 350 kilometers per hour, will be produced.

Red Bull Advanced Technologies was founded in 2014. Its mission is to help bring elements of Formula 1 technology to other applications and disciplines.

The RB17 is the culmination of this approach, and the car will be unveiled at Paddock Cathedral on Friday 12 July 2024, the second of four days at the Goodwood Festival.
