New Isle of Man TT Wednesday Schedule Announced After Tuesday Cancellation

The Isle of Man TT has announced a new date scheduled for Wednesday 5 June, after the race was canceled on Tuesday.

Both Superstock Race 1 and Supertwin Race 1 were originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, but rain into Monday night and into Tuesday morning meant the races were postponed until Tuesday evening. The mountain road was closed at 17:00 and the rest of the TT route was closed at 18:00. One solo warm-up session is planned at 18:30, with the Supertwin TT starting at 19:40.

However, after the warm-up session, the riders complained that the conditions were not suitable for racing, and so the course clerk decided to cancel the race for Tuesday, with the races now rescheduled for Wednesday. This means that Supersport Race 2 and Sidecar Race 2 – both originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday – will now have to be moved to later in the week.

The updated Isle of Man TT schedule includes both races taking place today (Wednesday 5 June). The Supertwin TT race is scheduled to start at 11:45, while the Superstock TT race is scheduled to start at 14:00.

Three races have been run so far, with the Crowe brothers taking their first win in a Sidecar TT, and Michael Dunlop equaling Joey Dunlop's record of 26 wins in a Supersport TT, both on Saturday. On Sunday, Peter Hickman won his 14th Superbike TT.
