Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek face off at LA Grand Prix


In-form speedsters Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek are set to compete against each other for the first time this season at the Los Angeles Grand Prix.

Two of the best runners in the world this season, Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek, will compete in the men's 100 meters at the Grand Prix in Los Angeles.

Both riders are ranked first and second in the world in the 200 meters this season, with Bednarek running a time of 19.67 seconds to win the race at the Diamond League in Doha, while the Botswana runner follows suit with a time of 19.71 seconds.

With the stakes high and both performing incredibly well this season, they will be poised to start their 100m campaign with a win and in quick time, as they fine-tune their preparations ahead of the Paris Olympics.

Also included in the fray is Jamaican speed sensation Akeem Blake, who is capable of causing an upset after an impressive indoor season.

Tebogo is the favorite to win as the world silver medalist. However, Bednarek and Blake will compete for a huge morale-boosting win to stay in the conversation as potential 100m medal winners at the Paris Olympics.
