Inter Milan get the better of Juventus, move four points clear in the title race

Inter Milan secured an important victory against their title rivals Juventus at the San Siro and remain top of the table.

The home team headed into the game with just one point above Juventus and were looking to extend the lead.

They did a good job getting past the Old Lady with a 1-0 victory to go four points clear on the league table.

Their effort was crowned with the first goal of the game in the 37th minute when Federico Gatti tried to clear a cross into the six-yard box but instead sent the ball behind his goalkeeper. 

Juventus tried getting back into the game but could not get past Inter’s defence until the half-time whistle.

Both teams started the second half brightly and had chances to get a goal but could not make use of those chances.

The referee blew the final whistle, with Inter claiming a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Juventus and increasing the gap in the table.
