He suffered because of Cristiano Ronaldo — Ex-Man United boss Solskjaer opens up

Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in the summer of 2021 and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked 4 months later.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer, former Manchester United coach, said that Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani suffered the most when Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club.

Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford from Juventus in the summer of 2021, joining a squad that already includes Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

His return reportedly caused some tension in the Red Devils' dressing room and did not go to plan for Solskjaer, who was sacked less than four months later.

Andre Onana was the hero in a penalty shootout for Manchester United as they beat Championship side Coventry in a tense FA Cup semi-final.

“We played and Edinson made us understand in a certain way the way we played.

“Cristiano – when you get to know him and talk to him, he wants to play three out of four games, and he realizes he's getting older too.

“But when you leave him once, he's not happy!”

As usual, Tunde and Tosin argue about who is their favorite striker. Victor Osimhen or Erling Haaland?
