F1 Tech Show: Is Red Bull reaching its development ceiling?

Formula 1's increasingly interesting development war is getting the The Race F1 Tech Show treatment this week as host Ed Straw and former technical director Gary Anderson look forward to the challenge of the Monaco Grand Prix.

Firstly, there is the small matter of a difficult weekend for Red Bull at Imola and whether that, combined with the gains of the rival teams, indicates the world champion team is getting closer to the development potential of its current concept.

And so, the developments of those rival teams, and the contrasting development fortunes of Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari – all of which have added significant new parts to their cars in recent times – and the all-important question of whether it's really getting close to that introduction.

Finally, Ed poses your questions to Gary, this time relating to Williams' extra weight, use of the F1 simulator, the Monaco Challenges, locked rear wheels and tire compound balance shifts.

If you'd like your question answered on a future episode of The Race F1 Tech Show, send it to [email protected] via a written question, or via voice note if you prefer.
