Glenn Irwin topped the first day of testing at BSB Oulton Park ahead of the second round of the series at the same circuit this weekend.
Irwin's time of 1:34.050 put him a tenth of a second clear of second-place Kyle Reid, who was just ahead of OMG Yamaha teammate and current points leader Ryan Vickers in third.
Tommy Bridwell showed competitive pace to finish fourth, but was ultimately half a second behind Irwin's pace at the top of the table.
Peter Hickman rounded out the top five and was the quickest BMW rider, ahead of Jason O'Halloran on a full moto Kawasaki in sixth. Josh Brookes finished seventh in the second FHO BMW, ahead of Christian Iddon in eighth, Danny Kent in ninth, and Leon Haslam who was the only rider not to improve on his best time of the morning in the afternoon inside the top ten.
