Bologna chief provides transfer update on Super Eagles-eligible forward on the radar of Arsenal and Milan


Joshua Zirkzee could leave Bologna this summer with the club president indicating they will not hold back any potential move.

Bologna president Claudio Finucci has made some interesting comments about the future of Arsenal and Milan target Joshua Zirkzee.

La Dutta, under former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Motta, has qualified for next season's Champions League, and Super Eagles-qualified striker Zirkzee has been a key cog in Bologna's unstoppable machine. However, they will have a hard time keeping him next season, as he has many suitors.

The club director made it clear that he preferred Zarkezi to remain. However, he believes the club can cope without him next season, suggesting they will not hold back any potential move.

“We hope he will remain a Bologna player,” he said, according to Milan reports. “Just as is the case with all our players who are linked to other clubs.”

“In fact, we have such a strong shareholder that we can continue without selling anyone and we will try to keep them all. The only person who controls his fate is Zirkzee, who has some clauses, but we will try to keep him in the coming weeks.”
