Barcelona opt against official El Clasico fan travel plans to Real Madrid

Barcelona heads to Real Madrid on April 21 to compete in the El Clásico final for the 2023/24 season.

The Blaugrana's exit from the Champions League in midweek effectively ended their chance of winning the title in 2024 with Real Madrid edging towards the title.

Ahead of their trip to the capital, Barcelona trail Los Blancos by eight points, with seven games remaining.

A win in Madrid could reignite the title race, but Barcelona will need a major slip-up from Real Madrid to stand a chance.

This lack of confidence has been echoed by the fan base with limited numbers traveling to Madrid.

According to a report by Diario AS, the club has not organized any official plan for fan travel by road, rail or air, but it is unclear whether this is due to fan apathy or club policy.

Another major issue affecting fans is match ticket prices despite La Liga's directive to reduce ticket costs for away fans.

The cheapest (non-VIP) ticket for an away fan for this game is €125 and the most expensive is €445.
