AFCON 2023: Federal Government set to reward Super Eagles players with goodies for reaching final


The Nigerian government has pledged to shower the Super Eagles with rewards for their impressive run to the AFCON final, recognizing their commitment and dedication.

In a thrilling encounter that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Super Eagles soared to a magnificent victory over South Africa, securing their spot in the final of the prestigious tournament. 

The high-stakes match, which concluded with a nail-biting penalty shootout, witnessed Nigeria’s own Kelechi Iheanacho stepping up as the hero of the hour. 


Kelechi Iheanacho etched his name into the annals of Nigerian football history by scoring the decisive penalty that propelled the Super Eagles past South Africa into the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final.
