Pulse Sports Nigeria can report that the message came from a video on TikTok, with fullback Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi and goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, making the declaration on behalf of the team.
Speaking further in the video, the Super Eagles players added; “We dey here, we no go gree for anybody, in Christ alone.”
Translating to “We will not agree for anybody” in Nigerian slang, the bold statement sends a clear signal – this Eagles squad will fight for the nation and not back down.
The powerful expression showcased the team’s unwavering unity, belief and determination as they brace themselves for upcoming challenges, with Nigeria looking to lift a first AFCON title in 10 years.
